BASIC SPECIFICATIONS - Filter media: cellulose, microglass SSD (anti-static), or stainless steel
- O-ring material: Viton
- Inlet and Outlet ports: -10 o-ring female
- Body Diameter: 2.2 inches
- Body Length: 6.93 inches
All Fore Innovations filtration media exceeds Bosch fuel injector filtration requirement of 5µ, minimum 82% capture efficiency, and 35µ, 100% capture efficiency (ISO/TR 19438); however, Injector Dynamics recommends finer filtration provided by our cellulose and microglass SSD elements
POOR FILTRATION MAINTENANCE WILL LEAD TO DEGRADED FUEL SYSTEM PERFORMANCE AND CAN DESTROY FUEL PUMP(S)
CELLULOSE FILTER ELEMENT - cellulose element, bonded aluminum endcaps, Viton o-ring
- provides 10 micron nominal, 14 micron absolute filtration
- use with gasoline and race gas
- disposable
- recommended filtration for use with Injector Dynamics fuel injectors
MICROGLASS SSD (ANTI-STATIC) FILTER ELEMENT - microglass element, static dissipating, Viton o-ring
- provides 12 micron absolute filtration
- use with all fuel types and blends (i.e. gasoline, race gas, E85, E100, M5, diesel)
- disposable
- recommended filtration for use with Injector Dynamics fuel injectors
STAINLESS FILTER ELEMENT - stainless element, stainless endcaps, Viton o-ring
- provides 10 micron nominal, 26 micron absolute filtration
- use with all fuel types and blends (i.e. gasoline, race gas, E85, E100, M5, diesel)
- re-usable
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What is the difference between the 88mm and 128mm filters? The filter element length is the only difference, so it has more capacity for trapping contaminates while maintaining high flow rates. When clean, the flow advantages of the 128mm are negligible until 2300 lph; however, the 128mm filter will be able to go longer between servicing, and will be able to maintain high flow rates while trapping more contaminates than the 88mm filter.I bought the "F-10" filter, and it is not marked with 88mm or 128mm...which one do I have? Our previous "F-10" filter is now renamed "88mm" to distinguish it from the new 128mm filter. ALL 128mm filters are marked with "128mm". Can I upgrade my old F-10 or 88mm filter to 128mm?Yes, we have an upgrade kit that includes a new filter body and 128mm element. Please ensure the additional length of the 128mm filter is not a problem with your installation. Which filtration element should I choose? Please see the information under the "Features & Specifications" tab for information that will help in your decision. What are the advantages of SSD or anti-static filters?Anti-static (SSD) fuel filtration is a new technology intended to eliminate the static charge created from passing fuel through a filter element. At this point, SSD filtration has only proven to eliminate certain problems seen in sensitive applications with sensors, data collection, and race telemetry; however, the elimination of this interference may have positive influence on other vehicle systems. The anti-static feature is only available in microglass filters, not cellulose or stainless. I don't see the inlet/outlet configurations that I want to purchase. Where can I get more information? We routinely add 1-2 fittings to our product line per month, and they usually don't get listed on our website until later during mass updates. Please send us an email and we'll be glad to get you the inlet/outlet configuration you need.
